Whistle blower retaliation in the ADCRR is a serious issue indicative of a culture of corruption and obfuscation of serious issues inside the department. There have been many reports by staff that this type of retaliation is expected in the department. The chilling effect this conduct has upon staff to raise issues of concern about the facilities and operations inside the ADCRR is a clear threat to public safety and the secure operations inside the prisons.
